Farmind developing “World Series of Poker 2008: Battle for the Bracelets” for Nintendo DS, to be published by Activision

OULU, FINLAND. September 17th, 2007 - Farmind Ltd has today announced that it is developing “World Series of Poker 2008: Battle for the Bracelets” for Nintendo DS handheld console. The game is slated for release later this fall and it is published by Activision.

“We have been thrilled to be involved with such a known brand and proud to work with a major publisher like Activision. It is a great opportunity and we are doing our best to make a game that appeals to the highrollers as well as the casual gamers. The team at Farmind has done an amazing job on the title giving their best to the features and gameplay in order to make it the best DS poker game there is.” says Farmind’s Producer Mr. Samuli Pöyhtäri. “We are currently finalizing the game” he continues.

Farmind is currently working on several Nintendo DS titles and has already shipped their first PSP game “Puzzle Scape” for US markets earlier this year. “Our focus has been on handheld consoles since day one and we continue on that track, concentrating especially on Nintendo DS platform for the time being. We are also looking into digital distribution for consoles” explains CEO of Farmind Mr. Ari Kangasniemi.
